{New Items At Paper Box Quilt Co.}

It's been a while but we are BACK IN BUSINESS!!  I mean,... collage editing is back in effect.  If you had been using Picnik to make collages before it flat left all of us, try Picmonkey.  It's AWESOME!  Way more awesome then Picnik ever was, so check it out.  Take THAT Picnik!

{Black Sheep}

First birthday photo shoot by Black Sheep Photography by Sallee.  Sallee Photography photographed my wedding in 2009 and now, they're photographing my baby boy!!

I just wanted to stop in with a mini update,... and share this adorable picture of Cash!  (those are my buntings in the background too!!!)  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

{The Dallas Flea}

This is Paper Box Quilt Co. at The Dallas Flea!  Believe it or not, this was the only picture I took, it was SO busy!  We started set up sometime in the 6am hour.  I'm not sure of the actual time, I think I was still asleep.  Doors opened at 9am and we had a steady flow of people all day until we shut it down at 4pm.  Sales were OKAY,... not great, but not terrible.  Will I do it again?  Probably.  The next Flea is in September, so maybe I'll do great then!

Right now I am working on photographing anything left from the flea and getting it listed in my Etsy shop.  I'll keep you updated, but stop on over anyway and check it out!

{Just A Little Hello}

From a sweet, little boy.

We are working on a FIRST BIRTHDAY for this little man!!!  Already?  Yes, already!  I can't believe it either.  I'm shaking my head as I type this.  But, it is a fact,.... this boy is growing fast!  Remember this guy??  *sniff*

{Super Moon}

The "Super Moon" was last night!  Did you all see it?  My husband remembered right in the middle of the movie we were "watching".  I was working on a quilt, he was playing on his phone.  I had to get a drink.  Then scissors.  Then he had to let the dogs out.  Then I needed a snack.  Then we had to check out the super moon.  Then we got sleepy.  I'm not entirely sure what the movie was about.....

{Hi......}

It's kind of a thing in Texas to round up your kiddos and go trample our beautiful state flowers for a photo opp.  (Illegal?  I think it may be....)  But man, it sure is awesome!

One a side note, I was really enjoying the ease of creating collages in Picnik and as you may or may not know, Picnik is NO MORE!  SO, do any of you use a free website for creating collages quickly and easily?  That's the name of the game folks,... QUICKLY/EASILY.  Let me know your thoughts.

{Insta-Overload}

Funny story,... kinda. Last night I had this post allllll ready. I had all 7 million of these pictures linked up and a short little description about how I have been so busy/stressed/overwhelmed/exhausted recently trying to get everything ready for the Flea this weekend. And about how I was even falling asleep typing the post,... then when I hit publish it brought me to the login page like I was never here and never created the post in the first place. Then I thought I dreamed the whole thing!

But, alas, it was all real. I haven't been taking too many "real" pictures the last couple weeks, just some in Instagram,... so I give you my "Insta-Overload" Enjoy!

{Faces Of Cash}

{Just A Little Photo Shoot}

A few weeks ago I found this really cool place to take pictures. I want to go back everyday. It's so pretty. We went to brunch one Sunday morning then headed out to take pictures of Cash. He is growing SO fast!

I don't think it's possible to have more beautiful eyes than this little boy right here.

This started out as pictures of Cash and a lady showed up and asked if we wanted a family picture. While I hadn't really planned for family portraits that day, but I LOVE how this turned out!

It's FRIDAY!!! (12:09, so I guess technically, it's Saturday) Any awesome weekend plans? I am going to try to hunt down a ladder. I have been looking for an antique ladder like this to display my quilts in my sewing room and at the Dallas Flea. SO, it looks like Cash and I are headed to First Monday. Wish me luck!
