{Pretty.... and a Pocahontas story}

These were given to the Boss Lady last week for Boss's Day! Beautiful!

My seven year old niece wants to be Pocahontas this year for Halloween, CUTE!! My Mom always made my Halloween costume and now she offers to make my nieces costumes. Well she has been a pretty busy teacher this year so I offered to make the Pocahontas costume. In case anyone out there doesn't know, there is NO Disney Pocahontas costume pattern out there for a child! WHAT!?!?! No really. SO I got the best Pocahontas-looking-cave-woman pattern that was WAY too big thinking that I could wing it and make my own changes to make it as close to Pocahontas as possible. The costume tuned out pretty cute,... the catch?? My niece lives in Texas and I am terrified it isn't going to fit her!! :( I am sending it out tomorrow, so we shall know soon enough! I'm more nervous about this than I thought I would be!!!

{Fabric Punkins!!}

Uhhh,... HOW CUTE ARE THESE??? My husband and I went to his sisters house last Sunday to watch football. This translates into, eating a TON of food, Tom and his siblings watching football and Jessie working on SOME project. This time, it happened to be these adorable punkins! I love them! I still have a few to finish up, but they are so stinkin CUTE!

These are perfect to stay up all through Halloween and Thanksgiving!

If anyone is interested, I can post a tutorial of sorts, let me know??

{It's Looking A Lot Like Fall}

So,... I started to get out the decorations! I used to LOVE when the seasons changed and it started to get dark early, now, I don't love it. Wait,.... I LOVE the weather, the windows are open, breeze is blowing. The house feels airy and wonderful. It's the 6pm darkness I'm not in love with! Does anyone else feel the same? I don't like leaving work and it already being dark.

Anyway, I do like decorating for different seasons, and I used these tiny punkins as inspiration for some super cute little fabric punkins that I will share with you tomorrow, stay tuned.........
