I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Mine was pretty productive so I'm feeling pretty good about starting the week,.... although, I am also feeling like I could use another full day of sewing! On our way to my Brother-In-Law and his Fiancees wedding "shower" (party) this Saturday, I managed to stop at a local fabric store and pick up some pre-cut fabric pieces for the Hope Squared quilt I will be sending to Margaret's Hope Chest.
I though the purple and green combo was cute and appropriate for a girl OR a boy. When I look at it, it reminds me of Monsters Inc. or Buzz Lightyear. :)
I'll post more pictures when it's complete, before I send it off.
Yummy colors! Makes me think of Jolly Rancher grape and sour apple candies we ate as kids. :)Really pretty, Jessie! Great contrast between the blocks. How fantastic that you're jumping in there and participating in the Craft Hope projects.
